SEZP SUMMER PROGRAM
MLKFS in partnership with the Springfield Empowerment Zone and Boston After School and Beyond, offers a fulfilling summer with our stipend-based, 7-week skills preparation program! Running Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM, this initiative offers students the opportunity to explore career interests and build essential workplace skills through engaging and hands-on activities, including CPR/ First aid certification. Middle and high school aged youth enjoy team building activities, civic engagement projects, evening recreational clubs and weekly trips, all designed to enhance their social, civic, and leadership capabilities. These activities not only prepare students for job and internship opportunities but also our available school year employment opportunities.
